Day/Night Fr 4/Sat 5 Dec Spectator Info

Australia’s very best Superbike racers and teams go head to head at the first ever day/night race meeting in Australian road racing history when the Swann Insurance Australasian Superbike Championship series finale rolls into Sydney Motor Park on Friday 4th and Saturday the 5th December.
This is a first for Australian race fans, they will have a choice of nights to watch the racing action with six action packed classes racing over the two days and into the evening with the final races finishing both Friday and Saturday at 8:00pm.
While there will be racing from late on Friday afternoon for the diehards there will be racing all of Saturday. For those of us who are time poor then the evenings is the time to be at SMP with the main races taking place between 5:00pm and 8:00pm each day.
Saturday is the day though when the Swann Insurance Australasian Superbike Championship contenders fight it out to see who will be crowned the King of 2015 in a splash of champagne.
Each day will be action packed not only with racing but displays of merchandise and historic bikes, a number of new 2016 models will also be on display including the just about totally new 2016 ZX10R Superbike weapon. Add in something not seen at a FX event since the 90’s that used to get the crowds blood boiling back then, there will be a $1,000 judged burn out competition open to both spectators and competitors.
There will be much more information about the first ever day/night motorcycle road racing in coming weeks so stay tuned.
